Today, on International Jazz Day, we’re excited to announce the first ever EJBF Introducing Series. Over seven weeks, we’ll present seven free online gigs from some of the best new talent on the Scottish jazz scene. Starting at the end of May, and running up to the start of the festival in July, we will be showcasing emerging musicians who are one’s to watch in 2021.

With performances from Kitti, Norman Willmore, Atom Eyes, Dan Brown, Astrosnax and Nathan Somevi, the Introducing Series will finish with a brand-new commission from Edinburgh based singer-songwriter and talented pianist Naledi Herman and her project MAM (Mother All Mighty).

We’ll bring you more details on the Introducing Series, as well as our plans for the 2021 Festival, in the coming weeks.
