This week’s EJBF Introducing Series concert comes from Dreaming of White Horses – an exciting project from pianist Dan Brown. Fusing trad music with jazz, his band includes a host of familiar names -Michael Butcher (saxophone), Charlie Stewart (fiddle), Chris Amer (guitar), James Lindsay (bass) and Stephen Henderson (drums).
Fusing the melodies and instrumentation of traditional Scottish music with jazz harmony, improvisation and strong grooves to create a unique and exciting sound, this set includes music from the band’s first release ‘Dreaming of White Horses’. Enjoy!
