Saxophonist, Paul Towndrow plays a concert with his organ Trio at Gallus: A Scottish Weekend.
Jazzwise said "It's musicians like this that make one so optimistic for the future of jazz” and the BBC agreed ”Just full of excitement, full of edge and playing with all of the heart that the music needs.”
He is joined by Pete Johnstone (piano) Alan Cosker (drums).
And the astonishing young saxophonist Matt Carmichael opens the set with his Trio.
