Did you know that we also produce the Edinburgh Festival Carnival every July?
While we are working hard on plans to celebrate Carnival in whatever way we can this Summer, we’re planning to look back on some of
our favourite memories and previous participants. Enjoy this lovely video from our Carnival & Community Manager, Giles Agis, which was recorded to mark last year’s cancelled Carnival, and make sure you follow Edinburgh Festival Carnival for the latest updates!Sunday 19 July 2020 should have seen the coming together of communities, dancers, musicians, circus performers and masquarders from Edinburgh and across the world. Our Carnival & Community Manager, Giles Agis,
created this short video to mark the cancelled Carnival and it’s so lovely that we wanted to share it again!We are currently working on plans for 2021, placing the safety of our participants and audiences at the centre of everything we do. We look forward to sharing plans with you but, in the meantime, we’ll be sharing lots of fun and colourful Carnival memories to brighten up these Winter months and we’d love to hear some of your favourite Carnival moments!
