Check out Paul Towndrow’s new release ‘Deepening The River’ – the culmination of a two year project featuring 24 musicians, including many familiar names!

Thanks so much to everybody who has ordered a CD or downloaded Deepening The River today. I’m quite overwhelmed by the response and positive messages. You can get your copy from bandcamp :

To celebrate the release, I wanted to share a full track with you. This part of the suite is entitled ‘Wildfire’ and features some exciting, virtuosic, and emotionally driven solo work from Laura Jane WIlkie , Martin Kershaw, Ross Ainslie, Bill Fleming and Chris Greive. Again, huge thanks to Stuart Hamilton for recording this so expertly at Castlesound, and to the golden-eared Ross Hamilton for mixing and mastering. The album cover shot you see here is of a top secret location, photographed by Cølin Black . The map is a sneak peek of the inlay design by Helen Caleb
