American trumpeter Jon Green’s music is a beguiling new sound on the Scottish jazz scene.
His latest recording, ‘Nina Fairouz in the 21st Century!’ is a poetic mix of jazz, American folk music, and electronica. His music is very much of the moment – played by an all-star group featuring Paul Harrison on piano, Kevin MacKenzie on guitar, Mario Caribé on bass, Tom Bancroft on drums and Martin Kershaw on saxophone.
