A few things you may never have known about….

• JORDAN RAKEI •

• Born in New Zealand and raised in Australia, by 2014 Jordan Rakei wanted to spread his musical wings. Torn between moving to LA or London he eventually chose to settle in the UK because his grandparents are English.

• His drummer/producer Jim Macrae scouted Jordan on Facebook and asked him if he needed a drummer. Within 2 weeks they were jamming and writing together and haven’t looked back since.

• He was signed by Ninja Tune after someone from the label heard one of his tracks playing in a café and just had to Shazam it.

• He often produces and experiments with EDM under the pseudonym Dan Rye.

• He co-wrote and produced Loyle Carner's vibey new track ‘Loose Ends’ ft Jorja Smith

Don’t miss Jordan Rakei’s set at this year’s D2D, pick up your ticket for just £14+ booking fee here: bit.ly/2Ffza1v
