After the success of our site-wide ban on the sale of single use plastic bottles and straws in 2018, we've been hard at work building on the policy throughout the year. ♻️

For #DEERSHED10, we're widening the ban to encompass single use plastic hot drink cups, cutlery and serveware.

Whilst continuing to provide reusable pint cups at the bars, Green Goblet Ltd will integrate reusable hot drink cups into the goblet scheme. After paying £2 on top of your first drink at the bars, you can swap your goblet for a hot drink cup at any vendor selling tea and coffee.

All food vendors will be using compostable serveware because, well, we love to compost! We've once again invested more money and man power into our recycling infrastructure and The Maltings Organic Treatment Ltd will ensure all food waste and packaging is also properly composted. As always, Yorwaste Limited will ensure 0% of our general waste goes to landfill with their waste to energy plant.

Thank you for helping us make our #DrasticOnPlastic dream of becoming a completely single use plastic free festival by 2021 a reality!
