Bless you all! Wish I was there. At least it’s warm rain this time of year.

  15. I think the weather forgot that Cropredy wasn’t supposed to be until next week & the rain turned up a week early.

  16. Last time I was at the Brasenose there was the mother of all apocalyptic rain showers, while Merry Hell were playing.

  17. David Webb says:

Great to see you back in at least some format!

  18. Enjoy. I wish I were there with you. I even bought new waterproofs, but now I’m isolating.

  19. Who’d a thunk it….Fairport at the Brasenose & in the rain! Lost count of how many times I’ve danced in front of this stage in rain or shine! Marvelous 🤞 that we can all be all together again next year! 👍😍 🎻🎸🎶

  20. Understatement- it was very wet!!

  21. Rain?? Sunny up in Scotland…

    Still wish I was there…

  22. It dried up though. A very emotional evening. Thanks Gareth

  23. Wouldn’t be Fairport at Cropredy without the rain 😁 Bloody brilliant night 🎸🎻🪕🥁🍻🍻🍻

  24. Jen Hay says:

Loved it though! Very impressive, in fine voice and amazing having not played together for so long. Worth being soaked through to my undies. Brasenose were superbly organised with food and drink. Fingers crossed for Cropredy 2022

  25. It will be rainy at Wickham as well 🥲

  26. It was a tad damp there. Back home now and finding that the rain got into places that I never knew it could go. 😂

  27. Terrific evening, glad we’ve retired to a camper van for change into dry clothes, not a tent!

  28. Lovely to be there, it wouldn’t be right if it weren’t raining. Thanks FC and all for organising.

  29. Glad you are having a great time, but looking at next year’s dates, Scotland totally ignored yet again!! Why? Skip some of the dates you do annually in England and give your fans in Scotland, especially up here in the North, some consideration, it must be five years since you bothered to cross the border, other than once when you did connections in Glasgow, which was televised – coincidence, of course it was! eh? But that is beyond the financial scope n practicality for most of us up here as it involves a 3 hour plus journey each way and an overnight stay, come guys, be fair or come clean n be honest.

  30. Brasenose stage seems upgraded!

  31. Brilliant night . Thanks Gareth and all at the Brasenose for organising.

  32. Chris Ody says:

Wow! Just so happy to have been there.
I travelled from Witney in my wet weather gear thinking ‘who’s idea was this???’, but it really was a fantastic atmosphere despite the pouring rain.
I think we’ve all really missed the magic of live music (my first gig since Fisherman’s Friends last February).
Thank you Fairport people and all involved at The Brasenose Arms.
Cheers to my friends Paul Parry and Yvonne Parry for good company and getting me safely back to the car park!
Hoping to dry out in time for The Wickham Festival on Sunday.
    Rock on!

  33. Sad we couldn’t be there……
Have planned a ‘We’re not going to Cropredy‘ tour of Wales next week in our hired motorhome. Hope we can get to use our tickets for 2022….😕

  34. It was rather special and a privilege to have been there.

  35. It was very wet just got back home to wolves was well worth it

  36. What a wonderful evening even if it was a bit damp

  37. Mark Smith says:

I didn’t think it was on?

  45. It was wet but fun! We came from Cambridge for the night.

  46. Great evening, they never disappoint. But why the childish 6th form style political outburst and insult nearly half of of the USA?? Found it strange coming from such great guys!

  47. That explains why the weather has turned! Didn’t realise the Convention was happening!
