  3. in 1993 we came to Cropedy, my self my partner and our 6 month old baby plus our Teenage son i think he was12 at the time . in a horse drawn wagon with four horse and two goats several dogs and three grass plants, we had a fantastic time we actually had a ticket. so we had to be let in, even though there was some disscussion about not letting us in, we was accused of looking for a free park up but because we had a ticket and i and my partner knew teh history of teh band we was let in. The Lenningrad cowboys played, i love that band, also Robin williamson from teh incredable string band , plus Robert plant who sang with Fairport and Roy wood, and when we left teh security gave us all their left over food, we had to share teh wrist band cos we had enough money for a second ticket but had we bought one we have had no money for food. teh security let us have a cooking fire cos they realised that was how we lived. i have always been a fan of teh band and i still am i just wanted to share my story as i am so proud of eth fact we came and had such a great time and we were made very welcome and i believe we were teh first to bring horses to teh festival we was told as we was leaving ( not sure how true that is), i was so inspired by teh music i now play mandolin in a folk band xxxx
