Latest Festival Flyer update from Cropredy
[ad_1]
As you probably know BBC Radio Oxford had problems with their satellite van last Saturday which prevented them broadcasting live the entire Fairport set.
They were however, able to record the entire set and have put together a programme featuring 20 minutes of Iain Matthews and 20 minutes of Richard Thompson plus the entire Fairport set.
This is now scheduled to be broadcast during tonight at 01.00 hrs Saturday 20 August. It will then be available on BBC Sounds for the next 30 days.

The station’s four hour programme of Thursday and Friday highlights that was broadcast on 13 August is also available by following the same link or this direct link:

The link for the Thu/Fri highlights doesn’t work, it might be this: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0cr0zl2
Very much looking forward to listening … would have loved RT’s full set too.
BBC sounds have a podcast of the festive and I have had it on repeat since it’s release – it’s driving the family bonkers but I love it
So it wasn’t the problem with the occasional slip in Peggy’s language then.😂🦀
They really made broadcasting seem difficult for this event!
Woohoo!!
Will reset my laptop and record the programme then burn it to cdr!!
Thank you for the heads up! ❤
6pm would be better
Thanks for this. My best mate from the age of fifteen and I went to Cropredy many times from 1989. He died three years ago.
Playing “Who knows where the time goes” immediately prior to “Meet on the ledge” was a bit much to take.
Floods of tears.
Thanks for some amazing memories.
that answers my question then!
