Festivals and gigs. A listings calendar, plus previews, news, reviews, and photos

Created by radio and TV personality Chris Evans, CarFest roars back into action from Friday, August 22nd to Sunday, August 24th, 2025, at Laverstoke Park Farm in Hampshire, England. This three-day family festival is more than just a car show; it’s a celebration of classic cars, live music, delicious food, and family entertainment, all for a great cause.

From Humble Beginnings to Festival Giant:

Created by radio and TV personality Chris Evans, CarFest’s origin story began in 2012. Driven by a desire to raise funds for UK children’s charities, Evans envisioned a unique event combining his passion for classic cars with a broader appeal for families. The first CarFest was a resounding success, attracting over 50,000 attendees and raising a significant amount for charity.

Over the past 13 years, CarFest has grown into a giant of the UK festival scene. What started as a single event has expanded to two separate festivals, CarFest North and CarFest South, attracting over 140,000 attendees each year. The event has consistently delivered an unparalleled combination of attractions, solidifying its reputation as the “largest family fundraising festival in the UK.”
