UK British Blues Award winner and four-time European Blues Awards nominee Bex Marshall’s unique style of guitar playing is a combined technique of slide, blues rock, ragtime and roots pickin’.
Her voice is a powerful melting pot of old black woman’s heartache and rock diva soul.
Bex is a writer of distinction and notability, as she pushes the boundaries of blues, and her songs have been called ‘timeless, touches of genius.’
She tours internationally, either solo or with her super-tight three-piece band which augments her unique style of of virtuoso playing.
Bex is literally a musical tornado.
She’s picked up several accolades at the UK Blues Awards over the last few years and has toured with Big Brother and the Holding Company as the voice of Janis.
BEX has presently signed a new deal with US record label 26 Records with the single ‘I Can’t Look You In The Eye’ and with Sony/Orchard distribution is currently being pushed into 60 countries, BEX is scheduled to perform at the opening gala of the Oscars in LA in Feb 2020 as a US showcase.
Bex’s last record, ‘The House Of Mercy’, was self-written and produced and broke her into several markets and 2020 will see BEX revisit most of her favoutite countries to perform at festivals in New Zealand, Australia, Brazil, USA, Scandinavia, Czech, Argentina and U.K
