Past artist faculty and participants have included Billy Contreras, Alex Hargreaves, Mike Barnett, Andrea Whitt, Jeremy Kittel, and a who’s who of improvising violinists, cellists, violists, and bassists in a range of styles from jazz, gypsy jazz, bluegrass, celtic, blues, rock, avante garde, latin, and more… Participants range from elite classical performers (free lance, orchestral, college professors, and chamber/solo players), to full-time string teachers in middle school and high school, private teachers, college students, high school students, and adult amateurs and beginners. We typically welcome a range from age 14-65 from 5-10 countries every summer.
