UNDERCOVER FESTIVAL AND EVENTS STATEMENT
NOT ACCEPTABLE!
If a man approaches a woman and puts his hand up her skirt or touches her inappropriately without consent IS A WITHOUT A DOUBT SEXUAL ASSAULT, there is no ifs or buts or maybes with such behaviour and no excuses for this should ever be tolerated.
If this happens at one of my gigs, I don’t care who they are as they will be reported to the police immediately.
If a woman attends one of my gigs on their own or in company I want them to attend in the firm belief that they are safe from such behaviour, the venue and they like me will not tolerate such behaviour.
I want EVERY woman coming to my gigs to be rest assured that their safety from this behaviour is my utmost priority.
This statement is not for debate and if anyone wants to talk to me about it, please inbox me, and all discussions will be in strictest confidence.
