🎸GENEVIEVE MILES 🎸 Joins us at TBR23 on the main stage 🥰 Genevieve’s funk influences blend with her trademark psychedelic pop elements, creating a sound inspired by the likes of Parcels, Talking Heads and Khruangbin. ‘Good,’ her most recent single, was first launched on the new Hyundai advert in June, and accumulated over a million views in less than two weeks. Miles grew up on the folk scene of Oxfordshire before moving to Birmingham in 2018. She spent her time in Birmingham fine tuning her innovative and unique take on alternative pop, and was described by CLOUT as “a force to be reckoned with in the Birmingham music scene.” During these few years, Miles played O2 Academy Birmingham, was Brum Radio’s ‘Track of the Week,’ and gained support from Birmingham Music Awards, playing their joint showcase with BBC Introducing.
