🎨Gemma Longworth🎨
Joins our arts and craft team at this years TBR23
Gemma has a ‘have a go’ attitude which is how she ended up on our TV screens. She is the presenter and furniture upcycler on Channel 4’s award winning daytime TV show Find It, Fix It, Flog It, the popular restoration show on which she restores and upcycles the nations preloved items into treasured pieces of furniture. Gemma loves showing the audience fun, cost effective ways to reuse their unloved items. Gemma has also appeared on CBBC Saturday Mash Up where she was challenged to teach her interior design skills to Stanley!
Gemma is a proud scouser with a good sense of humour and a passion for all things arts and crafts. She graduated from university in 2008 with a degree in Applied Arts and a Masters in Textiles focussing her postgraduate studies on art as a therapeutic tool. She held a residency at local children’s hospital Alder Hey working with the children creatively as a form of distraction, entertainment, therapy and self expression. During her time at the hospital Gemma was commissioned to work alongside the bereavement services to produce art activity resources for children to work through the stages of bereavement in a creative and positive way.
Also join Gemma with Anna Gough tonight live on Instagram at 8pm ❤️
