Latest update from Rockaway Beach Festival

🎳 Celebrating Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark’s “If You Leave,” which was released back in April 1986. They whipped the song up in under 24 hours to soundtrack the reworked ending of Pretty in Pink, and it’s since gone on to be a generational, and genre, defining new wave anthem. We cannot WAIT to see this live on stage in Bognor, pint in hand, singing along like it’s the performance of our lives. Oh and if you’re wondering, Andie was originally meant to hook up with Duckie.

    That song is their worst.

I’m hoping there’s nothing after Architecture and Morality…

Terrible ‘written for the American market at the behest of the label’ song. Nothing cool about it. OMD have got a brilliant catalogue, including their two post- reformation albums. This sucks.
