Latest update from Wotsit Called Fest:
That’s a wrap on Wotsit Called Fest 2019! We just wanted to take a minute to thank absolutely everyone who came, bought a drink, bought merch, picked up a flyer, and had a good time. We couldn’t have done it without you and every little bit helps us keep doing what we do and helps keep the venue open.
With that in mind, a big thanks to Crowleys and all the staff in making our first festival there a success. Big thanks especially to Michael and Makky for all your help during and in the run up to the weekend and to Harvey for the sound.
This year (our 4th festival) has been maybe a little bit more stressful than others – we’ve had to deal with artists pulling out which by some miracle has never happened to us before. We completely understand that life gets in the way so there are no hard feelings, and we hope to welcome those who couldn’t make it back to Hastings! Extra special thank you to Butane Regulators and Casual Nausea for stepping in last minute, but thanks to everyone else who played Citizen Fish, Bootscraper, Youth Avoiders, Nosebleed, Darko, Fresh, Bobby Funk, The slm, Spoilers, The Barracks, Tim Loud, Jake Martin, NANA -disagioacustico-, Falaun, Haest, Follow Your Dreams, Bitterman, Nazi Mincer, Martin Appleby and David Francis.
We’re always looking for ways to make things even better, so please let us know any feedback, any changes you’d like us to look at or any artists you’d like to see play.
Till next year, keep an eye on Toxic Wotsit’s social media for all our upcoming gigs!
Much love from Dan, Jens, Kathy, Mark and Dave xx
