Watchet Festival news: Watchet Accommodation Guide for holidays in Watchet and Exmoor for 2017

Latest update from Watchet Festival

Yesterday afternoon we announced that all Campervan/Motorhome passes had sold out. Since that announcement a few people have been in touch to voice their disappointment.

We’re really sorry if you were one of those who missed out but, we did warn everyone that next year was shaping up to be a sell out year and in record time, perhaps people will start to believe us now?

If you were one of those who sadly didn’t manage to buy a campervan pass you have 4 options.

1). You could wait, hope and pray that we have some returns. We will put any returns up for resale.

2). You could wait to see if anyone advertises their pass for sale on our FB page.

3). You could try and book a place at one of the many motorhome/campervan/caravan sites in the local area (see below).

The closest site to the festival site is Helwell Bay which is around 1 mile from the festival site by road, and a 10/15 minute walk using footpaths.

Helwell Bay * 01984 631781
Beeches 01984 640391
Blue Anchor Bay * 01643 821360
Doniford Bay(Haven) 01984 632423
Home Farm Holiday Park 01984 632487
St Audries Bay 01984 632515
Warren Bay Holiday Village * 01984 631460
Warren Farm Camping * 01984 631220

* tents welcome

4). You could leave the campervan at home and book into one of many Guest Houses, Hotels & Holiday Cottages in and around Watchet.

For accommodation in the town and surrounding area please see below. When booking please mention you are coming to Watchet for the festival.

In all cases we strongly advise you to BOOK EARLY as spaces get booked up fairly quickly.

Thank you x

Hi everybody - we hope you've all kept safe and well throughout lockdown and are all looking forward to joining us next year.

We thought it was worth just reiterating this announcement about this year's festival being postponed JUST in case some are still planning to make the trip to Ratlinghope next weekend!

Keep your eyes peeled for more updates in the coming weeks.

We love you all xCOVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT:

It is with heavy hearts that we regretfully announce Farmer Philโ€™s Festival 2020 will not go ahead as planned.

Like many other events scheduled to be hosted this summer, we have been monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely. The safety of our festival family โ€“ the performers, traders, staff, volunteers and not least you, our wonder supporters โ€“ is of the utmost importance to us and we have concluded that going ahead with the event is a risk simply not worth taking.

We realise that, while perhaps not unexpected in the current climate, this is disappointing news for everyone looking forward to our annual party in the Shropshire Hills.

So we are pleased to confirm that we have postponed this yearโ€™s event until 13-15 August 2021. We are working hard to replicate the line up that would have been playing for you this year, and those already confirmed will be announced on an updated event poster in the coming weeks.

Tickets purchased for this year will remain valid for the 2021 re-scheduled event and postal tickets will be sent out nearer the event itself. It would mean the world to us if you retained your tickets for next year, however we do appreciate that individualsโ€™ circumstances can change, so if youโ€™re unable to join us in Ratlinghope in 2021, please contact us for refunds via the channels below:

For postal ticket orders, please e-mail farmerphilsfestival@gmail.com

For online orders via Ticket Sellers, please contact Ticket Sellers directly

To help us process your request quickly, please only contact us via the above e-mail for postal ticket refunds โ€“ enquiries via social media can get missed.

Thank you again for your continued support โ€“ please continue to keep safe and we look forward to seeing you all again in 2021 when you can all geddon moi land again!
