Morning everyone, as promised, here’s our next line lineup announcement.

They are a HipHopera band from London.

The group blend Classical Music with HipHop to create a unique, fresh and innovative sound.

Classically trained Josephine was growing increasingly tired of the cultural gap between the pop-scene and classical world. They are both, of course, based on the same thing. For years people have been becoming more and more catholic in their tastes, so she decided to create something which is neither classical or commercial, but a blend of both.

They have received wide spread acclaim since performing at the UK’s biggest music festivals including Glastonbury, Camp Bestival, WOMAD, BBC Carfest, Boomtown Fair, NASS, Standon Calling and Belladrum Tartan.

The band have received amazingly positive reviews and airplay on national radio stations from such reputable sources as Tom Robinson on BBC 6 Music, BBC 3 Counties, and Premier Radio as well as an overwhelming response from online and printed press, for example Fresh On The Net, Aesthetica Magazine, Love Music Magazine, Adam Not Eve and The Times. The group have also been creating a buzz with their unforgettable live show in their hometown, London, with performances on the main stage at the massive O2 Islington, the legendary Bush Hall, Brixton’s award winning Hootananny and Camden’s world famous Jazz Cafe.

Ladies & Gentlemen please welcome …..Josephine and The Artizans; HipHopera

They are on the Main Stage on Saturday 25th August 3- 4pm

Josephine’s voice reminds me of another classically trained singer I saw a few year back called Gabby Young & other animals – she too had an amazing voice, judging by this video I suspect I’m going to be equally blown away by Josephine and the Artizans
