Big thanks for the shout out from The Libertines! It certainly was a beautiful weekend! #victoriousfestival

Thank you everybody in Portsmouth and Southsea who came out to sing with Peter Doherty this weekend at Victorious Festival. What a beautiful day with beautiful people.

And thank you to Daniel Quesada for this photo.

Victorious Festival

Victorious Festival is once again, thrilled to have Portsmouth College on board this year with student participation at the forefront of our partnership.

For 2018, Portsmouth College will be exclusively sponsoring the Action area based in the Kids Arena with activities including festival hair styling and glitter makeup brought to you by HAHA Training, one of their many apprenticeship providers, and the infamous giant deckchair and beach ball to get you in the seaside spirit – and that’s just the Portsmouth College tent alone!

There’ll be student photographers capturing all the highlights from the festival capturing shots from all the stages, as well as young journalists who will be teaming up with@expressfm to review acts and report live from the event.

The outstanding opportunities on offer also extends to, of course, the music scene! There will be artists such as The Peaches, Acoustic Avenue, White Sox, Thinking Jack, Jessica Lawler and Room 10 from the incredible music department taking to the stage across the weekend to treat festival-goers to the sounds of young talented performers in our City – Portsmouth College are ones to watch out for!

And then he has to fight and spoil it, that’s why we didn’t watch him!

This was the worst act of the weekend. Pete Doherty confirms his status as a prize prat. He did very little musical work and did not even have the decency to introduce or thank the musicians supporting him. Then to top it he turns into a petulant child at the end. Utter rubbish. I cant believe he gets paid for this.

I thought he was highly entertaining. Enjoyed every minute.

Thought I would go along & give him benefit of the doubt. What were Victourious thinking, total train crash! There were far superior bands on the smaller stages, that should have been given the chance. Xx
