An unknown Foals on the pier in 2006. The same year, hungover from the night before, whilst sat outside a greasy spoon, a black SUV pulled up and the driver shouted over to us 'wanna come to a secret gig?' Me and my palls all jumped in and he took us to see passenger playing on a tiny little platform besides the seaside railway!! Awesome gig!!!

Hollow Coves, my very first TGE band. Plus Sam Fender at Patterns.

Viagra Boys at the Haunt! Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs at the old market from TGE 2019 🤘🏼 🤘🏼

Crystal Castles at The Barfly 2008 was a riot. Alice spent the gig crowd surfing while singing.

Villagers, alabama shakes and future islands were good a while back, viagra boys and do nothing were top last year

Confidence Man's late set at the much lamented Sticky Milke's in 2017.

Staying up all night on the beach listening to some famous guitarist playing acoustic versions of Arctic Monkeys and 20 people dancing til the sun came up... Hannah Mackey & Jessie Mackey & Jim McCall probably have some golden memories too...

Idles in the Paganini Ballroom and Sports Team on the Pier.

Snapped Ankles set last year

We are delighted to hear the news that the government have agreed a £1.5bn rescue package for the arts sector. However there is still uncertainty over how this money will be distributed.

Tonight venues across Brighton and the UK will #lightitinred to highlight the huge loss if these venues are not saved from the brink! More info here >> bit.ly/2Z1wAqU

Last year, the live music industry contributed £4.5bn to the UK economy whilst accounting for over 210,000 jobs.

Today, a huge number of the UK music industry’s workforce is facing unemployment.

Other countries have acknowledged the importance of their music and cultural industries by pledging specific financial support packages.

The UK government has not, so today over 1,500 artists and countless industry professionals have come together to raise awareness through the #letthemusicplay campaign

You can help raise awareness of the campaign by sharing photos or video clips of the last gig you attended using the hashtag #letthemusicplay on your own social pages
