An unknown Foals on the pier in 2006. The same year, hungover from the night before, whilst sat outside a greasy spoon, a black SUV pulled up and the driver shouted over to us 'wanna come to a secret gig?' Me and my palls all jumped in and he took us to see passenger playing on a tiny little platform besides the seaside railway!! Awesome gig!!!
Hollow Coves, my very first TGE band. Plus Sam Fender at Patterns.
Viagra Boys at the Haunt! Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs at the old market from TGE 2019 🤘🏼 🤘🏼
Crystal Castles at The Barfly 2008 was a riot. Alice spent the gig crowd surfing while singing.

Villagers, alabama shakes and future islands were good a while back, viagra boys and do nothing were top last year
Confidence Man's late set at the much lamented Sticky Milke's in 2017.
Staying up all night on the beach listening to some famous guitarist playing acoustic versions of Arctic Monkeys and 20 people dancing til the sun came up... Hannah Mackey & Jessie Mackey & Jim McCall probably have some golden memories too...
Idles in the Paganini Ballroom and Sports Team on the Pier.
Snapped Ankles set last year
Like A Motorcycle at Green Door Store in 2017. Awesome set, awesome band.
Touts at Sticky Mike’s was a little bit special. Never seen a band sweat so much but they smashed it!
Last year was my first and loved Fernando Milegrass at the Hope and Ruin and most of the artists at St Mary's Church, Kemptown. What a great festival and so much variety at such a reasonable price. Looking forward to 2021.
The Cribs with Johnny Marr at Fortune of War in 2010. They only let in about 20 people. So lucky to get in
...And So I Watch You From Afar, every time they’ve played! (..And A Few Other Things That Are Unrepeatable On Social Media...).
I discovered Dilly Dally and have played their album, Sore ,so many times . If i hadnt have seen them at Brighton I doubt i would know them now. Ive seen them live twice since and bought the merch. There are so many bands to see it takes days to decide.
