Shambala Festival news: Shambala 2018: Partnering up with Red Fox Cycling

Latest update from Shambala Festival

πŸš΄πŸΌβ€β™€οΈOn yer bike, Shambalans! πŸš΄πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ
We may have sold out weeks ago, but we’ve been sitting on a little pot of adult tickets for those who fancy a challenge; travelling to Shambala by pedal power alone from Bristol or London! These tickets are Β£15 cheaper than regular final tier tickets but must be bought in conjunction with a Red Fox Cycling tour. These tickets are specifically for cyclists, riding to Shambala on Red Fox’s guided bike rides. If you don’t arrive at the festival this way, your ticket is not valid for entry. Please only book one if you intend to cycle there with Red Fox.

Bristol riders leave on Tuesday 21st August, from Bristol Temple Meads train station at 11am. London riders leave on Wednesday 22nd August, from Willesden Junction Station at 11am.

Both routes have been tried and tested – they are scenic, safe and frequently off road. Bristol riders have two overnight stops on the way, London riders have one. Both sets of riders will be accompanied by a support van which will carry everything that you don’t want to.

Heaps more important details on what the rides entail (and how to book both the festival tickets and on to the bike rides) can be found here: https://www.shambalafestival.org/on-yer-bike-exclusive-cycling-tickets-now-available/

Presenting Episode 11: Love, Life and Death, and the colours inbetween.

In this episode we hear some of the wonderfully warm short poems that were voiced in this year’s poetry slam. What emerges is a rich tapestry of words and musings that cuts across the experiences of all Shambalans.

Join Bev Lee Harling on the Ticket To Jam bus. This live recording with cello experimentalist Abel Selocoe is a wonderfully off-kilter folk jam.

to me these little jams are the essence of shambala, and Frank Moon a true veteran of them (whilst still being baby faced). Go Bev and all musos involved (and the bus people). x

Before we hunker down for the holidays, we all want to wish you all a very merry Christmas*. Thank you for yet another wicked year 😘

We'll be taking a little break from social media over the holidays so it will take us longer to respond than normal - if you have any urgent queries with regards to tickets, please contact the ticket sellers on info@theticketsellers.co.uk

The festive season does bring a lot of pressure - send out extra reserves of kindness to yourselves and each other, and if you're struggling, the Samaritans phone lines are open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week over the Christmas holidays - you can call them on 116 123.

Stay cosy! x
