Latest update from Shambala Festival

Our annual Inspirational Trader Awards are our chance to celebrate the food traders who scored highest across a long list of green and sustainable criteria. Winners are rewarded with significantly reduced pitch-fees (as well as us shouting about how brilliant they are, to all who’ll listen)

🥇IN FIRST PLACE… Poco!🥇
Why? They source directly from producers and farmers – and ensure ALL post festival waste is reused or recycled – often pickling and fermenting surplus edibles. We love their ‘root to fruit’ and slow food ethos – and their fresh produce is 100% seasonal. At Shambala, they offer a wooden board deposit scheme, rather than takeaway boxes, to reduce waste even further. (On an unrelated note, if you haven’t tried their breakfast Shakshuka, you have not LIVED).

🥈OUR RUNNER UP… La Bonne Crepe!🥈
These flipping legends made the switch from eggs to an egg replacement – which not only reduced food waste but also made their legendary pancakes vegan. They also balance all their travel miles, year round.

Thank you to all our amazing traders for your hard work keeping all of our crowd fuelled and happy – it might sound cheesier than a halloumi wrap, but you’re all winners in our eyes.

Hi there, I emailed you before and after the festival to say I never received my pre ordered programme. I wonder if I could have a credit note to use in the online shop? 😊

I would bloody love one of the T-Shirts you were giving out at the recycling point. Any knocking about? Thanks

Aww I want a hoodie but I think in men's sizes, even a size S would swamp me :/

ATara and Lex! You can get your calendars!

Amy do you want a shambala calendar or you happy with your Serial Killers one?
