KKTA in rebel soul again would be ace – only caught a few mins early on and then last five minutes at the end! She was turning out superb banging techno and I was gutted to miss her….
If there is any way of getting Sarah kay for some poetry I’d be over the moon!
Also Jamie Berry or some other electro swing like stuff
Cloudbusting, the Kate Bush tribute band
PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE get Jeremy Loops next year, he would be amazing on the main stage, incredible South African artist who gets the crowd jumping!!!! He would suit Shambala to an absolute T!! Playing Brixton Academy in November after his sell out show at the Roundhouse last Feb – go scout him out!!
Forest of Fools in Chai Wallahs, Polish Ambassador, Emancipator, and the Wing Faced Earth Figs on the crafty garden stage 😁💖
How’s about some psy trance in the woods? Seems perfect for it! Trance is so underrepresented at festivals 😥 and it’s all about the love and acceptance! Uplifting and euphoric! Or at least some progressive house?
deluxe!!
bannana sessions
the wing faced earth figs!
tankus the henge, morcheeba!

Shambala has lots of superb music but psytrance is totally absent which is a shame.
Alice phoebe Lou – she is incredible and would definitely fit in Shambala 👌
Crazy P are pretty awesome, and Gemini Rising’s new album is worth a try, i’d love to see them, and of course !!! (chk chk chk) would be so fitting for the vibe there.
Cut Capers would be amazing!!
Go go penguin, will and the people, koan sound, phaeleh, renegade brass band, shobaleader one

Soccer96
Shabaka and the ancestors
Machimbombo
Alice and the percolators

Can we please get Rhymes with Orange to do some poetry? They SMASHED it at latitude this year and would go down a storm at shambala!
Hate to be ‘that gal’ but more dubstep please!! Would need to be in an enclosed space + soundsystem though so that the sub bass can be felt ☝️
Toots and the maytals mainstage on Sunday!!
JUNGLE!! Bring them in if you can. You’ll know their songs and they are amazing live (trust me on this).
Also: Lazy Habits, Dizraeli, and The Odd Folk x
Saw Maurice Fulton at Farmfest and that was one of the best early house sets I’ve ever seen. Also Greg Wilson would be epic
Bring back Pongo as I’m gutted I missed them.
Then some more psych orientated bands such as
Juju (album – ‘our mother was a plant’) & Follakazoid.

Los Kamer! Awesome Mexican punk band – like crazy mariachi music – AMAZING. And Soma Soma again please?!?!?!?!
My womxn DJ collective Selextorhood would love to come. We can bring down some djs who love the fest and can play all sorts of tunes, we just supported Jayda G.
We would also be keen to do a talk on being a DJ in a male dominated industry and run a womxn DJ workshop.
