Latest update from Shambala Festival

Let’s talk campsites! In keeping with this years’ carnival theme (Avant Garden) we want to see you all treating your campsites as your own personal garden for the weekend. We’re not expecting you to mow the lawn or bring your own garden gnomes (though gnomes are always welcome) – but please do your bit to keep them tended, tidy, well loved and beautiful.

Historically, you lot are pretty amazing when it comes to putting things in the correct bin and leaving the campsites spick and span before you depart but let’s make a real effort to keep them looking their best across the full festival, it’s your home for the weekend after all.

With this in mind, whilst in your campsite this year, you may be paid a visit by some tweed-clad, rather snooty looking judges from the Shambala Best Kept Garden Association who will judge your gardening efforts, in comparison to your neighbours and will be giving out prizes to the winners.

Make us proud! x

Shambala Festival

For the past 8 years, Bee's Mobile Creche has been offering Shambalan parents the chance to take a few hours off, leaving the kids in the excellent company of our friendly Bee swarm (aka experienced crèche workers).

Bees Creche hosts a hive of activity, providing a safe play space with three 3-hour sessions daily, for 2-7 year olds. So you can enjoy the festival knowing your little one is having as much fun as you are:

Big-up to Bees Creche for anyone wondering about it. Our kids have gone every year for several years and always like going. The staff are always welcoming and caring. We won't be at Shambala this year and our oldest is too old now, but thank you to all the Bees over the years.

Well that face lured me in. All booked.

Shambala Festival

Proudly presenting our seventh act of Shambala Festival 2019. Introducing KEL ASSOUF.
These self described 'stoners from the desert' melt together African trance rhythms and deliciously bluesy rock riffs - transporting the listener to a dance floor somewhere between London and Niamey - a powerful groove machine.

Delve deeper on our website, here:

Music credit: Kel Assouf - 'Alyochan' from their brand new album 'Black Tenere' - listen and download here:

Tune in again at 5pm on Friday as we announce our 8th act!
