Latest update from Rockaway Beach Festival
🎳 Wishing a very Happy Birthday to the legend that is *Jarvis Cocker*! A figurehead of the Britpop genre, iconic frontman of Pulp, but more importantly he pulled off THAT stage invasion at the 1996 Brit Awards… it’s just too, too good. Have a good one, Jarv.

🎳 Fontaines D.C.'s setlist from their Rough Trade Nottingham show! Thoughts?
Tickets for Rockaway Beach 2020 at bit.ly/2T4Qc85
📸 Charles Furniss ...
Secondly, for anyone else who was there , my wife would like to thank the thoroughly nice crowd of young people she met there , she was sat near the signing area and doesn,t get involved with the throng, but still enjoyed every minute. Thank you Rough Trade, Fontaines DC and the lovely crowd.
Too many Roys, not enough boys
I was there, really great set. We're in for a treat at Rockaway!
It was fantastic, even better than the April do there, now have 4 copies of the album.
Was a fantastic night, getting to see them (well sort of see them from the side of the stage due to how busy/wild it was!) in such a small room was great, got my album and the Darklands Versions 12" signed by them. Seeing them this coming Monday again in Birmingham, can't wait
I was there! In fact, I think that is either Andy Wilkinson or Charles Furniss’s photo! 😃
There’s a lovely Fontaines DC fan group! www.facebook.com/groups/659706947820805/?ref=share

PS there’s a great article about the album here: thequietus.com/articles/07301-jesus-and-mary-chain-psychocandy
I love the whole album, but special mention to “In a hole” as it left me open-jawed watching them perform it live on Whistle test that year.
Never Understand, I remember hearing it full blast in a West End club in '85 and it blew me away, it still f*cking does 👊🏻
In a Hole; Hardest Walk
I like the one with the distorted guitars and wailing...
The Living End, In A Hole.
Just like Honey
Never really turned me on. Not my bag, but I dig others' love for them.
