🎳 We've got an idea for Rockaway Beach 2020 that WE NEED YOU to help happen. We've all got old mixtapes and CDs buried at home, or that have been sat in the car for the best part of fifteen years… So what we want to do is a MIXTAPE MIX – where you leave one, and take one.
It's a chance to pass on some of your favourite discoveries and vintage classics from over the years to somebody else, but also find new favourites for yourself at the same time.
We'll have a drop point in Bar Rosso all weekend, so swing by any time and join in. Maybe the DJ's will even dip into the pile from time to time, too.
All we ask is that you leave a GENUINE MIXTAPE… and not a complete album by an artist. This is about discovery – not promotion – but feel free to make up a brand new mix if you don't have any you're willing to part with.
You can bring cassettes as well as CD's… and feel free to leave more than one if you like. BONUS HERO POINTS for the best mixtape titles you can think of as well.
