Monster Magnet as always , hope you are planning to get them back one day after last year’s cancellation due to illness?

Thinking about a trip to Moat Park on the Friday then the rest of the weekend will be RMF at home in the garden

Right now I'm thinking that doesn't look like the Ramblin' Man Fair.

Pretty bleak here in the States at the moment with this damn virus and citizens who can't get their shit together...."cause they got rights". But on the plus side, RMF and The Open on the same weeks and at the same venues give me hope. Looking forward to airfares starting to open up for advance bookings.

Had to get involved didn’t I!

New Gallows Circus single 'Hell's Whiskey'...an absolute killa!!! 🀘 open.spotify.com/track/3E9I2BUq4wqRpIpGntsfV0?si=wznJh2ARRmqaQdqEEHZNyQ

We're going to Kent to my brother's for a Ramblin man weekend. Looking forward to next year.

Anything ROCK & LOUD, having a wee drinky and thinking of what could have been next weekend....really gonna miss it this year

Possibly the planet rock live asylum set, on the TV, but sitting in the garden of course!

In the garden with lots of Rival Sons some Fogat and Heart.

Sue Summers well then! We couldn't have planned this weekend better we tried. Ramblin man play list while we walk? Xxxx

Should have been Beggars Fair Romsey aswell

Maybe going to more park with some friends take some music to listen to and pretend it ramblin man fair

The new track from Dead Lord who would be fab at RMF and the cherry truck charity single

I’ll probably spend next weekend feeling angry with the world for ruining 2020 but also looking forward to RMF 2021!

I thought I’d get drunk and then loudly educate the neighbours with my impeccable taste in music, especially a group called Whiskey Myers that I may have mentioned ... 🀘😎🀘

Ramblin' in the garden with a tent, some great music and a beer or two🀘

Should of been here this weekend, prob at the 'Ale Tent' now🍺😎

My first summer for many years without Ramblin Man Fair. I will sit in my man cave watching videos and listening to Jack Hutchinson band, Bad Touch, Larkin Poe and some more.

Preparing a Ramblin' Man Fair playlist in readiness for next Saturday, when we should have been at Mote Park with friends who were going for their first experience. Instead we're all having a week's break in Dorset with a planned RMF evening on Saturday with festival food, cider and great music!

Considering turning my conservatory into a VIP room with beer, bourbon and a Ramblin’ Man playlist from 2015-2020 on the sound system. Not sure I’d get away with axe-throwing though. 🀘🏻🎸🍺🍺πŸ₯ƒπŸ₯ƒ

Probably sitting in the Ramblin Man arena at Mote Park waiting for the music to return while having a few beers 🍻 πŸ‘Œ

Plans for next weekend? To either avoid (my local) Mote Park....OR....just take some music down to the site, play said music (loudly),eat, drink & think of what should’ve been.πŸ˜‰ 🀘🎸🀘

Bloody hell 😳........look at the weather forecast for next weekend. Hopefully the weather will be like that next year 🀞

Weather permitting RMF playlist from 2015-2019 lots of wine/gin/cider/vodka & annoying the neighbours whist in the garden!!!🀘🀘

Skynnrd reportedly not showing, come on Purple let’s be having you. Dead Dasies, Those Damn Crowes, Saxon. Still hoping for Anne Wilson and Rival Sons tho πŸ‘πŸ˜‰

British Lion and Judas Priest please cheers

Hope The Record Company are still playing. And would love to see Robert Jon and the Wreck again☺️☺️

Us

I suppose the advantage with one or two bands invariably not being able to reschedule for next year is that Whiskey Myers will be able to play a longer set... 🀘😎🀘

awesome

Ooh, a few more first appearances at RMF, always welcome!

Peter Wink

Is lynnrd skynrd playing next year?

Fantastic news!

Yes Is Lynyrd Skynrd still on but it’s Rival Sons I’m waiting to hear about. They finish tour with Aerosmith just before so will be in Europe so 🀞

Will clutch still be doing the 3 day thing? that's what sold me on 2020?

Best Blues stage yet. Nice.

Yay!!! So so pleased to see Clutch still there and for the three days. You have just brightened up my wet, cold day ❀️

Massive that Clutch have been confirmed for the three days, just need Monster Truck and Phil Campbell to be added as well 🀟🎸🍺🍺

Get Steel Panther back but as a headline act 🀘🀘🀘

Great that you’ve retained these bands, especially Clutch, Foghat, The Steel Woods, Big Big Train and the fantastic Eric Gales, Top work RM team. I’m very happy. On tenterhooks for the rest though! Roll on 2021. 🀘🏻🎸🍺

Well done Ramblin man..... it sure is gonna be one hell of a party! 🀟🏼🀟🏼

  1. Alan Frith says:

I think Chas n Dave doing a blues set will surpris a few but I think they will in fact be a great addition and will put on an excellent show.

  2. Stephanie Wade says:

Great fun at Sonisphere, enjoyed great hairy biker/rockers head banging along with them.

  3. Roy Humphreys says:

They should be on one of the main stages as that tent will be packed outa

  4. Colin Emery says:

Great addition. A top act with real Rock β€˜n’ Roll / Blues pedigree. Chas Hodges was a session musician for Gene Vincent and β€˜The Killer’ Jerry Lee Lewis. They’ll be great fun and surprise everyone, even the smart-arse doubters I’m sure. Cheers team! πŸ‘πŸ»

  5. Steph Davies says:

Wonderful!! A line on my bucket list can be ticked !!! Fab fab fab Ramblin Man !!! How can you not smile and jig about to Chas n Dave !!! Love it ! 🍻

  6. Ray Paul says:

Really splashing the cash on big rock acts lol…. saw them at Sonisphere , they where good fun .

  7. Jane Alcorn says:

Speechless… but hey, willing to give em a whirl for a giggle (depending on what else is on at the time…)

  8. Gary Aston says:

Had to check the date to make sure it’s not April 1st. Saw them once at Knebworth that’s enough for me. Who’s next, the Barron Knights ? πŸ˜†

  9. Christopher Coyne says:

Hey what’s Andy Fairweather Low doing . I caught him a few years ago and he put on a terrific show with his band ( the Low Riders I think they were called). He would be a great addition methinks!

  10. Jay Mather says:

So glad you’ve managed to get the official Chas & Dave. The unofficial Chas & Dave might of been considered a cop-out.

  11. Adrian Perry says:

A little left field and not what I expected, but this could end up being the set of the festival (if you can get in the tent), why not put them on the main stage or one of the outdoor stages would be a shame to not let as many see them as you can.

  12. Mark Potts says:

I saw them support Zeppelin showing my age I have to admit they get a crowd going but there a really strange choice

  13. Mark Winslade says:

Apart from Knebworth with Zep I’ve seen them at the Great British Beer Festival where they attracted one of the biggest ever crowds….and at half time at White Hart Lane for a Spurs game !

  14. Beverley Humphrey says:

Think they will be fab…..but to the doubters…’Oh darlin’ there ain’t no pleasing you!’

  15. Graham Andrews says:

Brilliant announcement. Don’t knock them until you’ve seen them. Plenty more to watch if you don’t fancy them.

  16. Ian Wood says:

I love Gun. I enjoyed watching Chas n Dave when I saw them…but this slow drip feed of announcements isn’t doing you any favours is it? You’re already miles behind other festivals and Download are dropping 50 more bands in an announcement on Tuesday. These 2 drip feed ones have got you sod all press/ internet coverage so far. Just get on with it man!!

  17. Russ Marquis says:

So Def Leppard just announce December tour. Thats them off the list then, starting to feel a little nervous. Please, no more drip feeds, get it done and announce headliners!

  18. Laurence Todd says:

I was at Knebworth in 1979 when they opened the bill for Led Zep at midday. At the end of each song there was no applause at all !! Never seen or heard an arena so quiet ..

  19. Martin Lindell says:

Anybody else get the feeling this is going to be a festival with no headline-quality acts? I know booking is hard work, and there’s only a certain number of bands out capable of moving large numbers of tickets. Alice Cooper? I’d be tempted by that.

  20. Alan Dower says:

They supported status quo a couple years back at the O2, I like them they were a laugh and got the crowd going. But I haven’t heard them do blues not sure they are suitable for rambling man.

  21. Robin Harrison says:

Cockney slap and tickle is hardly “Blues” is it? Great live apparently, but in this context, Gertcha! Actually, this could be a lot of fun, in a guilty pleasure sort of way.

  22. Paul George Crawford says:

Sorry guys but this is getting farcical, I no headliners don’t make the whole show but it helps, starting to regret getting tickets, love the festival but please stop drip feeding people are really getting fed up

  23. Nicholas Akeman says:

I like Chas And Dave. But, really, six months to go before the festival and the best they can offer is Chas And Dave and……Gun. You couldn’t make it up. Meanwhile you’ve got Stonefree with Scorpions and Yes and Bloodstock with Priest, not to mention Download! I am sad and frustrated, I fucken love the festival but it’s doomed, Captain Mainwaring, doomed! The delay is for a reason: They haven’t got any headliners, they’ve been let down or fucked over again and they’re frantically stalling for time. They’ve got barely 6 months to sell tickets for this event. But no disrespect to Fish or Halestorm or whatever, there is no way they will pull in enough punters. Gutted! Also worried it will go tits up after they’ve banked all the money, weeks before and we’ll all be left fucked

  24. Karen Webber says:

This is a joke right? WTF is going on, this is going to be the last Ramblin Man Fair for sure, whoever is running this farce needs to leave, I’m sure Chas and Dave are a good laugh but none of the band mentioned so far warrant the money we have all paid out, where do I get a refund?

  25. Alan Nesbitt says:

The same Chas n Dave who had a string of novelty hits a few decades ago?
