Good evening, all!
Now that you’ve had your Sunday lunch, here’s Rabidfest’s biggest announcement yet!

We’re pretty sure we’ve made you wait long enough at this point, so without further ado….

Our Main headliner for Rabidfest, 4th August 2018 will be….

Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees & Beyond!

Yes, we are proud to announce that the only band of its kind is coming to play our humble event! If you’ve never seen these guys before, expect some brilliant music along with a amazing stage show that is something that isn’t to be missed! So, along with your battle jackets, we expect you to come kitted out in your platforms and flairs and catch some Night Fever. Don’t worry, we’ll make you’re Stayin’ Alive…. Ahem.

Furthermore, we’re happy to announce that this year’s Saturday Main Support slot will be filled by none other than the homegrown stoner/sludge legends in Desert Storm! What can we say about these guys that hasn’t already been said? We’re proud to have these guys back again after their brilliant show last year.
And on top of that, 2 more artists for the line-up!

Firstly, playing this Saturday, we have Raptor bringing a bit of Swagger-y, psychedelic Blues rock to balance out your weekend a bit. We think these guys sound great, and we’re adamant you will, too.

Finally, we’re going a bit international with the line-up this year; recently added to the Friday night line-up, we have, all the way from Belgium… TheGuardian! We first met these guys at last year’s Metal 2 the Masses, and we were very impressed with their Melodic metal performance, so we’ve decided to drag them back to Oxford for your guys. Kicking and screaming, of course.

So, just to recap, here’s every band we’ve announced so far:

Tragedy: All Metal Tribute to the Bee Gees & Beyond
Desert Storm
Morass Of Molasses
Dog Tired
K-Lacura
WarCrab
Aramantus
Crimson Tusk
Promethean Reign
Gutlocker
Raptor
WOLFS

DIVINE CHAOS
Fahran
VIG
Raised By Owls
One For Sorrow
TheGuardian
Bloodshot
The Freudian Session

What a line-up…. And we still have a space or two to fill, yet! So expect maybe one or two more announcements between now and the festival.

And don’t forget! Early Bird tickets are still available, but they’ll only be around until just after Christmas, so get yours now!

Best wishes,

Mark, Mark and Greg – The Rabidfest team
