Despite our modest 500 capacity size, we always strive to bring some fine international flavour to Outcider Festival, and it feels more important than ever in these dark times.
This next band stole the show at our sister event The Cursus Cider & Music Festival last summer, and when we found out that they were planning a trip to the UK in August 2020 we knew we HAD to bring them to Fernhill Farm!
The Freeborn Brothers are one of the most dazzling, engaging, talented and eccentric bands you are likely to see next summer. They hail from Poland but have played hundreds of gigs right across Europe, soaking up traditional influences and making an authentic, energetic sound that few can equal. You're gonna love 'em!
Please extend your cider-stained hands of friendship across the water to this fabulous act!

Brand new cider-shanty-folk-punk at its VERY best from our Canadian cousins and 2017 headliners The Dreadnoughts.
Own this record like they owned every one of you on that warm August night...ALERT! INTO THE NORTH is ready for pre-order, and you can already stream our first single, "Joli Rouge!" Get it all here: stomprecords.com/shop/into-the-north/
Cidre Joli Rouge (link below) is operated by the legendary Fred Simard out of Chicoutimi, Quebec, and he has kindly started to make some wonderful stuff called Dreadnought Cider. So we wrote a song about it! This song also gave us a chance to toss a couple more middle fingers at the syrupy, corporate, mass-produced, vomitous prison wine that is somehow legally allowed to be labeled “cider”, despite being almost entirely devoid of apples.
Cidre Joli Rouge is here:

Why start Sunday with a whimper when you can start with a bang, flashing trainers and high energy rave / rock?
Kicking off Sunday 2nd August at Outcider Festival will be the brilliant Cosmic Ninja.
Cosmic Ninja offer a visual spectacle that is emphatic, engaging and demanding of your attention. This queer fronted Bristol outfit have brought their explosive party vibes and politically charged tracks to audiences at Godney Gathering, Bristol Pride Festival, Hazy Days, FarmFest, LFest, Warton Music Festival, Farmer Phil’s Festival and many more.
Anthemic sing-alongs, fat metal breakdowns, and full-on rave numbers are all on display in this mélange of energy and enthusiasm.
Get in! ...
Like I would miss this x
