We're planning big for 2019 – and we need your help to make it happen.

Today we launch our Patreon site. Patreon is used the world over. It's a twist on Crowdfunding, but instead of a one-off payment, it is about much smaller but more regular support for artists and organisations. It is also a way to develop a community and we believe that is a huge strength of what we've built here in Wakefield – all of you, and your passion for what we are trying to achieve.

It's about a festival being able to do more, whilst also giving more back.

One big project for us in 2019 will be to develop and deliver an educational programme for the young people of Wakefield. This pilot will see these young people earn a Silver Arts Award, an equivalent of a A*-C GCSE, whilst creating a stage / event in aid of a local charity as part of the festival itself.

We want to open up opportunities for young people and artists that simply don't exist in our community. Your support will help us do this all year round, rather than our energies being focused on one weekend a year.

In return, we can offer exclusive festival updates, votes on our decision making processes, Long Division Festival tickets and entry to exclusive events + a monthly prize draw exclusively to our Patrons.

Please take a look at our Patreon page and from as little as $1 a month, you can help us with our ambitious but pretty damn exciting goals.

Thanks so much for your time.
