Latitude Festival

Next weekend marks what should have been Latitude 2020. Whilst we all can’t be together this year, we thought it would be the perfect opportunity to celebrate Latitude’s past, present and future.

We’ll be remembering moments shared together, celebrating our festival community as well as looking forward to the good times still to come.

We’d love for you to get involved at home; pitch your tent, turn up the music and create your own little Latitude. Show us how you’re marking the occasion using #LatitudeForever 💖

Would usually be at Latitude as its my birthday weekend...:( x

So gutted we cant be there this year ! Next year is gonna be epic to make up for it

Nick Elvin, Scott Knights, Jack Fountain shall we put a tent up in the garden next week, drink loads of warm tins of beer and pee in a cup to celebrate

Would have been spending my birthday (16th) travelling up to Latitude for my 5th year in a row, had loads of festivals booked for this year but this one was the most heartbreaking. We will definitely be doing a mini festival in our gardens (might have to get some sheep costumes for our cats 😂)

Amanda Bensly 😏

So gutted was soo looking forward to the line up and celebrating a year since I got engaged at the main stage last year. We were also bringing along our 5 month old, Remus, for his first taste of festival life x x

It should have been my 10th edition but I'll certainly be celebrating my favourite weekend of the year nonetheless, I'm absolutely devestated it can't happen this year but I simply can't wait for the next edition ♥🎶🐑

Duncan Cupit 🙁

Joanne Purchase This time next year x

Definitely miss it ,but next year is going to hopefully make up on missing so many great Artists / Groups / Bands /Vibes and excellent fun !See you all 2021 ! ❤❤❤

Been twice now loved stereophonics

Lee Flemo I'm coming yours, your building latitude and painting kathryn pink like the sheep ha

Looking forward to next year! Any idea what the dates will be, please? Already got tix, and need to juggle other re-scheduled gigs around the festival dates. Thanks!

Thanks for so many amazing years. Been every year since 2013. Bring on 2021. We will miss you so much

Jim Gleeson

Debbie, Graham, Laura, James. 😭 so sad. Next year.....”Us,us,us!!!”

🤔 Does celebrating having our wedding at Latitude in 2013 count? 😊 Many thanks for everything, BTW... 😉

Jacki Driver and Russell Driver I'll bring the sun hats, glitter and wellies for our reunion!! 😂🎉🎉

Laura Ball Jayne Hill Marcus Hill Simon Ball and Jon Arundel we should definitely do this !

Gutted that it’s not happening this year but will be there next year

Today we join with the Live Comedy Association to show our support for the #SaveLiveComedy campaign. It is well understood that the UK government’s recently announced arts bailout fund will not be enough to support the full arts sector in the UK, and it is likely that comedy will be one of the first to lose out.

Latitude is proud to celebrate our comedians as festival headliners and we see comedy as a powerful art form that makes space for truth, protest and entertainment alongside music, theatre and dance.

We urge the government to treat comedy like any other art form, and allow the sector to access emergency arts funding. You can show your support by sharing your most memorable live Comedy experience using #SaveLiveComedy. 🎭💖

Today, Latitude has come together with the rest of the UK music industry to show our support for #LetTheMusicPlay, a campaign highlighting the crisis faced by the live music sector.

We need the UK government to listen and act now to help protect venues that could be forced to shut for good, as well as supporting the workforce that make up the industry.

We encourage you to get involved by sharing a photo from your last gig using #LetTheMusicPlay to show your support for UK live music. Here’s one George Ezra’s headline set At Latitude 2019. 💖

Really missing live music!

It’s a dream, but dreams come true sometimes: please bring my Queen DEMI LOVATO 💗💗 It would be amazing to see her at Latitude after the lovely Lana Del Rey last year. Sigrid, Pale Waves and CHVRCHES as supporting acts again would be great as well!

Do you have dates for next year?

Arcade fire would be a great headline for sat night.

The Cure would be fantastic

Not Chemical brothers, on Sunday evening, ridiculous timing.

Nic Gibbs

Beatles

Daniel Öaker

Tha same line up as this year.

It's a shame we couldn't nominate bands for the other stages as some great East Anglian talent

Paloma Faith !

Hannelore Canessa-Wright Marisa Canessa-Wright Alice Helen Eason Gary Eason

Duran Duran pleeease!

Ed Sheeran!

Andy c closing party

Florence and the Machine

George Ezra

Travis

George Ezra was there last year...... Due Lipa

Want liam gallagher

Jack White!

I hope the " black " in " black out Tuesday " has no reference to colour of skin?

Could you black out Carlsberg from future Latitudes while we’re at it?

Can I ask out of curiosity, how your entire festival franchise from reading, Leeds, download, Kerrang and now latitude pursues the spread of a message by going radio silent? Would it be more productive to continuing posting and playing, but playing music of positivity and support, maybe paying historic music created by the black community that helped create the music we have today?
