Latest update from Into the Wild

Sorry to share sad news, but ignoring it, is what makes it worse and before we know it, it will be too late.

In 45 years, we have killed 60% of Earth’s wildlife!

This is so tragic, it's hard to know where to start. As it seems humans are just voting in even more psychologically disturbed individuals, that only care about profit and greed.

Humans have been around for more than 2 million years. But in the last 44 years, we have achieved what we haven’t in all this while: a mass annihilation of our fellow earthlings.

Between 1970 and 2014, Earth lost nearly 60% decline of its mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians, almost all of it due to human activity.
The rate at which Earth is losing its biodiversity is comparable only to the mass extinctions.

In the words of Marco Lambertini, Director General of WWF International, “Today, we still have a choice. We can be the founders of a global movement that changed our relationship with the planet. Or we can be the generation that had its chance and failed to act. The choice is ours.”

A A person commentated that this shouldn't be shared on a family site, but if we don't share and become more aware and make a difference then our grandchildren won't have any animals to share this beautiful earth with.

I also love that as well as what you guys do with your festival you are showing such great support in this way to educating others on your site about these issues. 🙏

Hence why I now work for the charity…Helping Rhinos…i couldn’t sit back any longer and not do anything…it has been the most fufilling roll I have ever done….i have worked with rhino most of my career….then decided I needed to do more…..if your interested in seeing a talk by James Mwenda he was the care giver for the last male Northern White Rhino who died last year I can send you the link. He now looks after the last two females……it’s coming to event like this that makes your really see the true side of what humans have done to destroy the planet and the passion and drive people like James has to make a difference and educate others. 🙏
