Lovely idea but only if you have money behind you... I would love to do this
Those of us that have lost children do our best to be there for the ones that are left and balance survival under often difficult circumstances. I’m very sad to hear of his loss.
My heart goes out to this family. You cannot begin to imagine the gut wrenching devastation that losing a child brings... you are never the same again. I lost my third child. As parents there are no words in the English language to even name your loss. Almost, nine years later, the loss is still felt but you realise that most of things we worry about and focus on really aren't important at all. I'm now a single parent with another child as grieve takes it's toll, it's not perfect, but losing a child is a humbling experience that takes you to the darkest place imagineable yet on the other side is a sense of gratitude for the simple pleasures and an appreciation for what you do have.. money isnt everything. Of course it helps and we need to eat. This family is lucky in that they had the financial means to keep going, many don't. It's all about balance and at the end of the day our children aren't small for very long. Cherish them.
Life is short, money is not everything! Earn less, take time off, be with your family while you can and make memories to make you feel great. Spend less money on the things that you think you need to make you feel better about working long shitty hours that you need to work to buy more stuff to make you happy.... you see where this is going?
So sad... sobering 💙
How awful for them, a very real wake up call for some of us.
