Indietracks

EDIT: ‪Thanks so much to everyone who bought an Indietracks screenprint - we’ve now sold out and raised £250 for Midland Railway! A further batch of unnumbered prints will be released soon - keep an eye on our website for more details! ‬

******************************************

Following the sad news that Indietracks is cancelled this year due to coronavirus, we’re keen to arrange some interesting things this summer and to raise some funds for both the railway charity and our artists.

Our fantastic artwork designer Claire Goldthorp has created some beautiful hand printed Indietracks screenprints to help raise money for the railway. The first 50 prints are limited edition, numbered and signed.

The prints cost just £15 each and a third of each sale will go direct to the Midland Railway - Butterley charity. To pick up a print, please visit: www.clairegoldthorp.com/product/indietracks-screenprint-fundraiser/

We’re also currently putting together a series of online shows from artists who were due to play this year’s festival and we’ll share more details soon.

Thanks for your support!

Thanks all for purchasing! So glad to have raised so much so quickly. Each print has four layers of hand printing so it takes a little while. But I hope to release a further batch in a week. We’ll announce on Indietracks and my social media. 💕

Ah, missed it, looking forward to grabbing one when available 🙂

Same here. Lovely print, good cause.

Ordered 👍🏼🤓🚂

Oh, they are lovely!

Just bought one 😀

Oh no sold out!!

These look great, Claire Goldthorp!

Damn. All gone already!

That was quick!

😍

Indietracks

Hi everyone, we’re very sad to announce that we have decided to cancel this year’s Indietracks festival due to the coronavirus outbreak.

We are so grateful to everyone who booked tickets, and to all the amazing artists, volunteers, staff and stage crew, and everyone else who has worked on putting the festival together this year. Thank you so much for your support and we’re sorry that we’re unable to go ahead this year. While it is a hard decision to take, the current circumstances have meant that it was the only option to ensure that we could keep everybody safe.

We will be starting to discuss Indietracks 2021 in the coming months, and look forward to announcing our plans as soon as we can.

In the meantime, if you bought tickets for this year’s festival, our ticket supplier, Gigantic, will be arranging full refunds for the face value of any tickets you have bought. These refunds should be made to you within 14 days.

It is a difficult time for Midland Railway-Butterley which, as a charity, relies on the income it would normally be generating during the current period of enforced closure. Therefore, we would be incredibly grateful if anybody felt able to make a donation to the Midland Railway Trust (charity no. 502278). We understand that many people are not in a position to donate at this difficult time and do ask you to put yourself first. If you can make a donation, please visit: www.paypal.com/uk/fundraiser/charity/140525

We realise that many ticket holders may have spent money on travel and accommodation and we hope you will be able to get refunds on those as far as possible. We’re also aware that a number of artists are losing income from playing shows and festivals at the moment. We are planning some ideas to help raise money for some of these artists and the Midland Railway Trust over the coming months, and in the meantime, please consider buying music from artists on this year’s line up where you can. We had an incredible line-up and they have some amazing music to pick up via Bandcamp and elsewhere. We also have our Indietracks compilations (2012-2019) available on Bandcamp, with all proceeds going to the Midland Railway Trust, so please consider picking up those too if you haven’t already – thank you! They're available from: indietracks.bandcamp.com/

We hope to be able to announce some virtual shows soon with new and old Indietracks favourites and we’ll be in touch as soon as we have details. We’re also putting together some very special Indietracks merchandise to help the railway with fundraising and will share details shortly!

Our thoughts are with everyone affected by the outbreak, and we hope you are all keeping safe and well.

I‘d like to donate my ticket fee. Do I need to wait for the refund from Gigantic or is there a way to cancel the refund so you‘ll get the money directly, Indietracks? Thanks for everything! See you next year!

Hi, I know it’s miles off but can you confirm that next years dates will be 23-25th July. Going to move the campsite booking a year and having the correct dates will help👍🏼 I’m sure there will be many others in the same boat.

Better to cancel now rather than in a few weeks but we’ll all be back next year. Just one question though. Have you advised the campsite of the postponement?

If anyone has any footage from previous Indietracks we'll have to have a virtual festival on a given date. Sad for the cancellation of the real one of course, my local one.

Very sad but not unexpected.....we know exactly how you all feel...My Kinda Pop was only a tiny event but none the less upsetting to have to cancel.......stay safe everyone involved with this wonderful festival we will miss you....😭 LL&Kx

Something to look forward to next year x big love 😍

Very sad but expected I am one of the security guys (007) and I will be donating so look forward to next year stay safe x

So sorry! 2021 will be wonderful! 💖🌸 love xx

It was the news we all knew deep down. The important thing is stsyimg safe though. Love to all the team, the railway and everyone involved, bands, crews and punters. ❤

Sad but totally understandable. Time start making owl puppets and running a mini can crush whilst listening to The School in the garden. See you next year.

Was expecting this announcement but am still sad to be missing my favourite weekend of the year. See you all next year. 😁

Donated. Hope you might manage to do a 2020 Indietracks compilation anyway so we know what we’ve missed? Jim has every one since 2008 plus the unofficial 2007 one 😃

Not unexpected, given the circumstances. Looking forward to next year. Will you still be releasing the compilation on Bandcamp?

Very sad, but the right thing to do. Hoping you can get the same line up next year xx

Very sad. Not unexpected though. Will look out for the virtual events & get some donations made 👍

Such disappointing news, yet expected. Will miss it very much but wish all concerned health and safety. See you in 2021. 😘

Big love to Team Indietracks from Reckless Yes 💖 see you in 2021 (and let us know if we can help in meantime with any of the ideas here) x

Sad news, but not unexpected and completely understandable. Thank you for all the hard work you've already put in 💕

Very sad news, but completely understandable and the right thing to do. You’ll comeback stronger for 2021, and it will be fantastic!!

Lots of love - can't wait for next year! 💖 xx

Hope you can make an online fund raising event during the coming months!

I'm really sad at this moment, hope to see you next year. All the best from Spain.

So sad but of course the right thing to do. Hopefully many of us can meet up for smaller gigs at the end of the year.

So gutted to hear this but not surprising. We will be back for 2021 that is for sure xx

A real shame - 2021 will be mega- love to everyone and stay safe And donated ♥️
