Junction 2

Junction 2 stands in solidarity with people and communities affected by racism.

House and techno were born out of Black and Hispanic culture. We have been lucky enough to build a business running events based on this music, the music that we and millions of others love. We now have a platform and a responsibility to use it to invoke change as best we can.

We would like to do better. Whatever kind of ally we thought we were we realise it is not enough. We will be spending this time reflecting and learning on how we can enact change from within our own systems as well as externally.

It is a small step but a step we take seriously.

Junction 2

In just 7 days time, we mark our traditional Junction 2 weekend with our first ever virtual festival: J2v.⁣

Bridging the gap between the natural and digital worlds, J2v will welcome the underground electronic music community for a sonic and visual odyssey into new territory, sound tracked by a world class DJ lineup.⁣

Challenging the perceptions of what an online streaming event can be, we are excited to welcome you all to our digital festival site that will deliver on Junction 2’s fundamental principles: the finest underground music, unique stage structures, mind-bending visuals and an inclusive atmosphere.

Junction 2

Year on year, Junction 2 has worked hard to become more sustainable. Set in London’s Boston Manor Park, the aim was to produce a metropolitan festival with great sound, high-end production and zero plastic waste. From reusable cups, water bottles, material and signage, every year we go beyond to ensure the environmental footprint of the weekend-long event is as minimal as possible.

This year’s virtual festival, J2v, will be taking place between two worlds: the world as we know and the digital realm with limitless possibilities. Guided by our real-life sustainability principles, we are partnering with Teemill to launch our J2v merchandise range made from fully organic, ethically sourced and sustainable material. Teemill provides a revolutionary service wherein every product is designed to be returned once worn out, in exchange for a new one. The used items are then recycled, remade and reused, in an endless plastic-free circular economy.

All profits raised from merchandise sales during J2v will be donated to our four charities of choice: The Care Workers' Charity, Refuge, The Outside Project and The Trussell Trust foodbanks, all close to our hearts in these unprecedented times.

Teemill are offering free UK shipping this weekend, starting Friday, so get yours now and support the work of these incredible charities. Further merchandise options are available in the store at: junction2.london/merch

For more information on the Teemill product journey visit their website: teemill.com/the-journey/
