Cast your eyes across the sands as local sculptor Tobias Ford creates his 'Pakefield Woman'… The sculpture is inspired by Lowestoft’s historic beaches, particularly Pakefield Beach, where in 2005 evidence of human activity was found in the form of worked flints that date from 700,000 years ago.
And in the wee small hours, watch as 'Pakefield Woman' is set alight; a homage to the spirit of the beach and the ancient people who inhabited it…
