End of the Road Festival news: End Of The Road would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came down to

Latest update from End of the Road

End Of The Road would like to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came down to this year’s festival. You all made our 13th year a truly unforgettable one. We are still giddy from all the surprises, new discoveries and once in a lifetime performances.

From Yo La Tengo’s captivating Thursday night opener, to St. Vincent’s breathtaking Friday night headline performance, Vampire Weekend’s only UK show this year and Feist’s stunning Sunday night closer, the thrills just kept coming.

We saw no one but two astounding performances from Jeff Tweedy, a spellbinding conversationbetween Ezra Furman and the legendary John Cale, and career-defining sets from IDLES, shame, and so many more.

Here’s to another magical year: 2019 early bird tickets go on sale tomorrow at 11am. x

  1. Absolutely my favourite festival!! ❤️ The gentleman giving the talks in the pop up planetarium was completely brilliant ❤️ The circus is always fab ❤️ Favourite musical moment (other than the I̶d̶o̶l̶s̶ IDLES thanks @simonlarder) had to be Josienne Clarke and Ben Walker ❤️

  2. Great weekend as ever but here are some suggestions for improvements for next year: 1) Hire some decent headliners 2) Ban all children 3) Supply more than one standpipe for the campervan site 4) Reinstate the late-night disco 5) Ban all children called Noah 5) Put more entertainment on on Thursday night 6) Try emptying the rubbish skips on the campervan site 7) Extend the festival from Wednesday to Tuesday. You’re welcome!
