Latest update from End of the Road

🌱 A week ago this evening, St. Vincent and her band tore through the Woods Stage. From the pounding riffs of Huey Newton to the heartstring-tugs of Happy Birthday, Johnny and a euphoric rendition of New York, lyrically altered especially for our Dorset ears, hers was one of the most theatrical and enthralling headline sets End Of The Road has ever (digitally) witnessed.

🌱 We brought our Office Stereo home and added some excellent tunes to see you through the evening whether you're working by yourself, taking care of others or just want to sit back and listen to some great music. It's easy to spot the theme...

🌱 Several artists have been streaming live shows from their homes to help music fans with social distancing practices recommended by the government and to raise money to combat the consequences of this pandemic.

🌱 courtney barnett, Lucius and friends were incredible from their living room last night and Sufjan Stevens will be live streaming his new album from 7pm today: buff.ly/33Ep0TW

Any other suggestions?

The Decemberists and Radiohead to name a few, as well as Death Cab, Postal Service and solo stuff. Definitely worth staying up for !

  1. Absolutely love this women so much πŸ‘©β€β€οΈβ€πŸ’‹β€πŸ‘©second time seeing her at EotR she’s an mesmerising performer – proud parent moment too as my 7y/o daughter told me she’s her favourite singer πŸ‘πŸ»

  2. I liked her too but she does come across as a singing dominatrix. Some random guy started talking to me before her gig in a v relaxed way. Then got v excited during and looking like about to orgasm at the end. Said his goodbyes and shot off toward his tentπŸ™‚

  3. To me it was just the Eurythmics with a better light show. 80s overload. To paraphrase what they used to say about the 60s, if you remember the 80s, and you think they weren’t shit, you weren’t there.
