Leftfield @ Drumlanrig is still the best gig ive been to at a festival.Outstanding !

So sad, went the last 4 years and me, my family and my closest friends have some special memories of some of the best times we ever had!! Good luck in the future

Very sad to hear this. We came for the first time last year and had the best time and loads of amazing memories x

Sad news, I met my husband to be Alastair Park in 2016 dancing to the charlatans, and have some happy memories with good friends, best wishes to you

I'm so very sorry to hear this. My son and I have loved your last two festivals, and were looking forward to this one too. It must be devastating for you guys, and I hope that you are able to pick up the pieces and come back stronger in the future. Best wishes. x

Really sorry to read this. Sending love and hope you are all OK.

Oh pal. You did a great job. It’s been hard going, but be proud of your achievements. You did brilliantly. I’m so sorry it’s over 🎈

Sad end to what was a great wee festival 😢 thanks for the memories and good luck for the future!

Such a shame you were forced to move. My favourite wee festival. Thanks for all the previous years guys. Loads of memories and unearthing of new bands.

You two had an amazing dream which came true for 5 fantastic years,. Be proud of what you've achieved and look to the future, this is not he end. X X

Yasmin Najib seen this coming! Should never have continued to sell tickets and be responsible for more people's cash!

So sad to see another good festival go. Well done on bringing something so good to the town and thanks for the memories x

Aww that's a shame great venue and brilliant wee festival ❤️🎶

Sad news 😢 good luck for the future guys.

We loved EF when we came a couple of years ago. Such a lovely site and friendly vibe. Thank you very much. Great memories.

A real shame but I saw this coming after the venue was changed. Last year was my only Electric Fields festival and we had a fantastic time! There was such a great atmosphere.

Stevie Ruth David Gary Heidi 😭😭😭 gutted but unfortunately their decision to move away from an actual festival to a warehouse and the change of dates has resulted in its downfall. Gonna miss it. Best wee festival in Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Sad to hear this, some great times over the years and great acts. Hopefully you will have a chance to restart at some time

Sad news, last year's festival has some fantastic memories for me James, Noel Gallagher and Leftfield rocked as did the old School tent. Superb atmosphere and vibe

Went to the last two festivals and they were both brilliant. Alot better festival experience than your bigger festivals. Sad day that this happened.

Very sad Another cracking festival bites the dust.

So gutted to hear this. We had an incredible time with you a couple of years ago, you created a beautiful thing for many people. ❤️

Pleased to see so many understanding and positive comments. This was a great festival and I'm so sorry it's not happening this year. I appreciate this will be more upsetting for you guys especially given all the hard work trying to save it. Be proud of what you achieved and the happy memories you made for me and so many other people. Thanks and best wishes for your next ventures.

Loved EF last year especially James, always in my memory:: great festival x

Shame that it’s come to that as it was a good family festival in a great location

This is so sad - Drumlanrig is beautiful, whereas I have never been in a more soul-less, atmosphere-lacking venue as SWG3 - it sucks the life out of anyone entering it's door.

.

Ok still no cash what the actual - - - - this is beyond the joke now

The ‘our story’ on this page needs a tinker guys ☺️

I had high hopes and many great memories from the first few years of EF festival. So sad it wen't wrong.

Gutted that EF has changed Venue...the forgotten corner of Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 suffers again!!...must admit I was rather suspicious when the festival was earlier than usual🤔...rather late notice ...sure there’s politics involved and not only financially motivated...bitter blow to our area😢...never will return...⚰️

Still no monies what is going on this is the worst service I’ve ever experienced

Lots of other excellent wee festies around...check 'em out here - www.efestivals.co.uk/

Keep your chin up guys the festival will still be a success these things happen sometimes keep going x

I have replied to e mail and requested a refund on Tuesday night. How long do I need to wait before refund and reply?

I haven't had an email?

Emily Woodhouse 😂

Well done for the quick resolution.

All you can do is apologise! Fair play ! Shit happens

Feel really sad about this, I haven't missed an EF since it morphed out of Comlonglon Rocks. Its been a fantastic event every year but I also feel for the organisers having to make this decision due to finances as it can't have been easy. It's been great for the local area and I have some brilliant memories of them all. I just hope that after Whickerman and now EF now gone others will be able to replace them but I fear the big corperate festivals are squeezing the smaller ones out at times.

Anyone had a reply to their email regarding full refund?? Thanks

Sam Fraser😢

  1. Brilliant festival (our second time) Sneaky Pete’s was a bit out the way though and felt out on a limb. Could be better placed. Security were great. More hippy healing stuff for next year too, wife loves a bit of Reki. hand soap dispensers ran out too and not refilled. We will be back. Ps Ryan Adams and more ska hint hint.

  2. Brilliant! My partner won our tickets in your competition so thanks so much for allowing us to be part of a fantastic wee festival right on our doorstep. Hats off to all the organisers and here’s to next year. 😍

  3. We loved it too and will be back. We would like better signage on the stages. I could see a sign on Arc and the main stage was obvious but could have done with more obvious signs on others. Thank you for lovely security, great food and excellent line up.

  4. First time attending and really enjoyed it. No bottle necks. Toilets overall were clean. Amazing food selection. No big ques for food, drink, entrance etc. Great atmosphere in family / boutique camping although this was probably more down to the attendees than any real visible security other than at the road. Parts of the main path , down the steep hill to the car park were becoming very slippy this morning at around 9.30am. Didn’t see any security staff on the campsite at all this morning monitoring. What happened to the comedy and cabaret stage? We found some if the acts in the smaller stages but it would have been good to see them on the bigger stage.

Only other minor feed back is it would have been great if the bins could have been emptied at all / more often in the family/ boutique campsite. Hopefully see you next year.

  5. Loved it , great time with family n friends, loved coral 🎶🎶 and our local bands the Lutras, Barstow bats, Frankie evil party n of course Ward n Watson 👍👍😎🍺

  6. We had a braw time. With three kids from 2 to 7, it was a bit daunting but the staff were the best. You really made us feel welcome so please keep what your doing as it’s our go to festival now!

  7. James 🌼 were awesome ! We were day tickets only and hadn’t paid online for parking, am I correct in saying that security was to then charge £15 at the gate entrance but yet no parking sticker was to be provided?

  8. Great fun traveled all the way from Orkney for this and leftfield where the highlight of my weekend!! Apart from making lots of new friends hope next year is just as good x much love and thanks x

  9. Brilliant weekend. Our 2 youngest were reluctant to go at first but once there loved every minute. Youngest was so chuffed being at the front for James and Horrors. All definitely up for next year 🎸⛺️🍺

  10. Brilliant 3rd time to EF.

    1) Kids loved the sports arena, the guys were fantastic and good fun.
    2) Line up brilliant.
    3) Thank you for doing more toilets in the live in vehicle bit on the Friday!
    4) please please do recycle cups £1 extra first drink and keep cup…
    5) there was so much rubbish which was terrible to see when it can be easily remedied.
    6) bit of mixed messsges on the security: chairs not allowed / next day chairs allowed. No picnics! Not sure what this is about! With a family of 5 it would cost us a fortune to eat at the festival for each meal.
    6) thank you for all your fantastic work.
    Canne wait.
