Camille Thurman - Aberdeen Jazz Festival

Latest Festival Flyer update from Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival

Our colleagues here at Jazz Towers have just announced the programme for the 2018 Aberdeen Jazz Festival – some great artists Camille Thurman Music Page, Myra Melford, London Afrobeat Collective, Riot Jazz Brass Band, Andy Middleton and a host of familiar friends like Scott Hamilton, Brian Kellock, Colin Steele, Charlotte Marshall and many many more.
Visit http://www.aberdeenjazzfestival.com for the full programme “A first class saxophonist that blows the proverbial roof of the place” (All About Jazz) as well as a singer with soulful inflection and remarkable, Fitzgerald-esque scat prowess” (Downbeat). Equally at home channeling John Coltrane or paying homage to the jazz-vocal tradition extending from Bessie Smith, the sensational American singer and saxophonist makes her Scottish debut. A superstar in the making!
