We are hugely saddened to hear the news today about The Deaf Institute and Gorilla music venues closing down for good.

Both music venues were firmly built into the DNA of Manchester’s music scene and a huge part of making Dot To Dot in Manchester what it is.

The news is a clear reminder of how vulnerable UK music venues are right now and how important it is to back campaigns like #SaveOurVenues and #letthemusicplay

Devastated by this. Some of the best music venues in Manchester

This is such sad news, really feel for everyone that worked, played or went to them. Loved both of those places.

Down to the artists too. If those big boys remembers the toilet venues that gave them a start they could easy do a residency and charge 40 or 50 quid. These venues could get a weeks profit in one gig.
