I'm all for the plastic reduction efforts, but do these fantastic bottles have to be used exclusively for water? Or can I fill them with something with a slightly higher ABV? 😄

They look great! Are they double-skinned - ie like a metal flask? Is there someone on the main festival site where drinking water can be obtained? Thanks!

Everyone will have to name theirs with a sharpie so we don’t get confused 😂

Love Stainless Steel water bottles, reusable plastic ones make the water taste grim. How about some Tankards for sale again too?

Fan-tas-tic news. Soooooooo happy about this. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Tried to order two but PayPal is playing silly buggers 🙄

Absolutely support this, but what about the food vendors? They must make good money from selling bottles of water so no incentive for them really I recall the water in the camp sites is not recommended for drinking, so could something be done to have some clean water to refill bottles during what can be a hot thirsty day? too easy to get dehydrated while away from home 😀

No point having a bottle if there aren't drinking water taps to fill them with. Otherwise plastic bottles are used to fill the stainless steel ones.

Timely! Just been thinking of stuff I'll need for Cropredy (new tent top of list!) and thought of bottled water. Then thought of the bottles not being eco-friendly. Decided I might have to make an exception for the festival as it may not be practical otherwise. We'll need clean drinking water and so will our dog.

Last night at our gig Ric showed us his Gig Swig water bottle... excellent!

I like that idea! I already have a big bottle like this for breakfast tea from the Cropredy school ☕.

Yes having a drinking water tap in the main field would be good to refill bottles. I have to say we have chanced it with not boiling water in the past and have never been ill in all the years we have come.

It's not just the plastic bottles. The carbon footprint of transporting bottled water is huge. Most tap water in the UK is perfectly safe.

I bring my own water, for my campervan, in a large plastic bottle that is reused, and then recycled, when it starts to leak. I take my rubbish home for recycling and/or disposal.

Was the link only on the home page on Sunday?, can't find it now - help !!!
