Camden Rocks Festival proudly presents an all-night alt-rock bonanza feat. Lunar Echoes, JD Kelleher, Saults, Tall Poppies, Arable Desert and Dead Natives at Nambucca.

Since the continued success of Camden Rocks Festival, we’re running a string of ‘presents’ shows to give you some of the best new alternative, indie, rock & metal music about!

Formed from the ashes of popular London/Cambridge band The Abstracts, Lunar Echoes sees Ben Taylor, Ben Nunn and Mark Thomson come together with London based singer/songwriter Ronnie White to create a more complex and intricate sounding outfit that aims to explore the more rocky and electronic genres.

JD Kelleher started our as an actor in his native Ireland and has had a successful acting career on both sides of the pond, including the West End and National Theatre’s here in London. He launched himself as a rocker in 2015, when Ireland went to the polls on Marriage Equality, taking his cover of the Joy Division classic Love Will Tear Us Apart, to the top of the rock charts. His debut EP followed and included Imagery which reached number 2. Bitten by the rock n roll bug, JD is now a feature on the London live music scene. With his cracking band and growing fanbase, JD performs regularly at The Dublin Castle, Camden and The Water Rats in Kings Cross. Check out some smashing music videos, a striking stage persona and masses of vocal talent. Kelleher has found his medium. Once you have seen and heard him, you won’t forget him in a hurry.

At the early age of 6, Antoine Saults (lead guitar / vocals) was offered his very first guitar. Shortly after, his little brother, Greg Saults (drums / vocals) followed in his footsteps in the hope of being in a band « like the Beatles » : from all of his 7 years of age, he decided to be a drummer. Ten years later, their dream came true in the form of the band SAULTS.

Tall Poppies are a melodic indie-pop act fronted by identical twin sister songstresses Susan and Catherine on vocals, electric bass and guitar with violinist, Diarmuid, pulling at heart strings and Doug (formerly of Noah and the Whale) injecting the energy and danceability on drums. Kate Bush meets White Stripes and Blondie. The new album ‘Let’s Go Out’ is coming soon!

Formed in London but sound as if they are from the depths of the Californian outlands, arable desert are killing the independent garage-rock scene with their blend of fuzzy, spaced-out psychedelia

Dead Natives are Liam Dutch, Robbie Ferguson, Adam Payne and Colin Marshall – a four-piece indie rock band from the UK.
With soaring guitars and vocals coursing with attitude Dead Natives adopt elements of psychedelic rock and modern brit-pop.
