The weather is somewhat bittersweet, this weekend was set to be our 10th anniversary and a scorcher to match. ☀️☀️

Tune in this Bank Holiday Sunday from 2 PM as we will be broadcasting live performances and DJ sets from a rooftop location in the heart of Dublin City Centre, so you can stay home, get dress-up, pour yourself a cold drink and enjoy the weather listening to DJ Deece, R.Kitt & Fehdah... 🇮🇪🇮🇪

Most importantly we asked each performer to choose a charity for us to donate to, and we ask you to do the same. Everyone who donates more than €2 & TAG, two friends, in the comments of the LIVE STEAMS will be entered into COMPETITION for a chance to win X2 weekend tickets for next years festival. ❤️

Charities include alone.ie/, jigsaw.ie/ & masi.ie/

A reminder to stay safe & sensible this weekend. We miss you all and can't wait to get back to the Bank Holiday Weekend we know best for Forbidden Fruit Festival 2021.

All our love, FF Team ❤️

FF 2019: Having performed his Irish festival debut at Forbidden Fruit in 2017, it was only right he would return one day to headline... mura masa the British multi-instrumentalist had collaborated with everyone from ASAP Rocky to Damon Albarn. In the challenging wind, he provided a brilliant performance bringing out special guest and rising artist slowthai to perform their track 'Doorman'.. 🔥🔥

The 2019 line-up also saw Skepta, Jon Hopkins, Paul Kalkbrenner, Peggy Gou, Mall Grab / Jordon Alexander, Daniel Avery, KOJAQUE, Maribou State, Earl Sweatshirt, Honey Dijon and many more.

District Magazine took over the 100% Irish stage with performances from Denise Chaila, Pillow Queens, JyellowL, LUKA PALM, Marcus Woods, Fia Moon, Rob de Boer and many more... 🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪🇮🇪

We would normally be on-site at the Royal Hospital, putting the finishing touches to site ahead of welcoming in all you amazing people for our Bank Holiday Weekend celebration, and the perfect way to kick-off the summer.

It goes without saying that it feels very, very, strange to not be there this week, especially with this incredible weather. We want to take this opportunity to give thanks to everyone who has played a part in the festival over the last ten years, to everyone who has bought tickets, danced with us, performed on our stages. And of course, the incredible crew, technicians, suppliers, trader, charity and media partners, who without events like ours couldn't happen. No-doubt the cancellation of this year's festival - along with the closure of venues and other cultural events will have severe implications on everyone in the industry.

We miss you all and we hope you are all safe and well. We can't wait to get back to the Bank Holiday Weekend we know best for Forbidden Fruit Festival 2021!
All our love, FF Team ❤️
