This year we are thrilled to have raised £217,432.50 which will be distributed to local charity and community groups and projects through the The Rainbow Fund - Brighton & Hove, the Pride Social Impact Fund and Pride Cultural Development Fund
Well done Guys, you achieve massive success in the community.
It'd be a good idea to send local papers articles about how the money raised is helping groups in the LGBT and other communities. Especially with quotes like 'we couldn't have done this without the funding.' All good material that will hopefully quell those who criticize the event.
There was a lot of negative energy around the mess left on the beach and the clean up but this speaks volumes for why Brighton Pride feeds back to the community. Well done!
