I remember in 1987 in my 1st year at grammar school being told gays were disgusting. Keep fighting!

I remember working for the ILEA in a careers office at the time, and the manager removed all the lesbian and gay literature from the bookshelves when clause 28 became law. When the area manager found out he was furious and put it all back again. He was gay. I was just a nervous 19 year old. I'll always remember that day.
